Why Portico?

My top priority is to take the stress out of buying or selling your home while being your strongest advocate. I can help you reach your goals by offering guidance, advice and resources throughout the process.

I joined Paragon Real Estate in November of 2008 after eleven years at Hill & Co. I have worked with buyers and sellers in San Francisco for homes, condominiums and investment properties. Visit my website www.ShellySutherland.com to read my newsletters on the San Francisco real estate market and to see my new and past listings.

To compliment my real estate expertise, I’ve added the realtor designation of SRES®. This gives me the expertise to inspire the 55+ crowd to envision and plan for a vital and lively second half of their lives.

I am originally from Laguna Beach. But after graduating from U.C. Berkeley, I chose to stay in Northern California and made San Francisco my home. Along with the home I own in Ashbury Heights, I also own income property in the Haight-Ashbury and other areas of California.

Outside of helping my clients, I love to spend time in the outdoors, and am an active patron of the arts – including music and modern dance. My main philanthropies are NPR, N.O.W., Human Rights Watch, Doctors Without Borders and the Environmental Defense Fund.

One of my trademarks is my sense of humor that I bring to the process of buying or selling real estate. While it`s a serious business, I help my clients enjoy the ride and have fun along the way!
